For those of you that were stunned by the recent collaboration between Massive Attack & Burial and crave for more, this is for you. Sweetheart of Kairi is a collaborative project between Sorrow and Owsey featuring six beautifully layered poetically composed pieces of music. Call it dubstep, call it 2-step, or call it ambient, the atmospheric soundscapes and haunting vocals and samples will slip you into a state of serenity. The good folks over at the Pinboard Blog have described it as Cinematic Orchestra meeting Burial, and imagine Sweetheart of Kairi being their love child. Hysterical yet perfectly makes sense. The EP is not free, but if you head to their website, you can donate any amount in exchange to download the whole package in 320 MP3 or many other formats.
