An old school friend of mine who was holding down the Guildford scene, together with Killawatt and Ipman, is now paving his own path in the drum & bass circuit. George produces and DJ’s under the alias, Axon. With a string of releases already secured under Cyclone Recordings, Proximity Recordings and forthcoming material on Icarus Audio, he’s making ripples as a promising new comer. George describes his productions as “deep techy minimal sounds, with hard percussion and lots of beeps!”. Always pushing the sounds he loves, he is also a producer and line-manager for the now legal radio station Kane FM, and holds a drum & bass show every other Thursday night from 10 – 12 on rotation with Dispatch Recordings and C4C, and a drive time show every other Tuesday 5 – 7. He recently hooked up with our friends at FatKidOnFire x MakeItGood and recorded this subliminal one hour mix featuring some cutting edge dubs from himself and other highly regarded D&B artists.
