None of us can deny that 2011 was just “another year” for underground dubstep. The scene has evolved, positively progressed and now stands in good hands for 2012. New artists and producers have appeared, new labels established, new radio shows founded, new fans connected, and while the experienced names carve the next edge, new blogging platforms; Hedmuk, 45hz, FKOF x MIG, PYC, Dubsilo and TRUSIK have been at the forefront of bass music journalism keeping the content engine ticking. 2012 is now and here at TRUSIK HQ we’ve been reflecting over the past year, digesting all the fresh beats, dubs and cuts that were endlessly talked about throughout 2011. Instead of posting a traditional feature on our Top 10, we decided to split a bigger feature into two. In part 1, we return to the artists that contributed to our mix series last year to share their Top 10 of 2011. In part 2, we caught up with some of our favourite artists from 2011 to disclose theirs. One major point we would like to stress before you continue: Each Top 10 is in no particular order.
