If you came here looking for dubstep, you’ve only found audio pornography. This is my record of the month by far. I’ve been waiting to get my hands on a decent version of this track since I first heard it being played live a few months back at the O2 academy in Oxford. Say what you will, you can’t help but love Chase & Status. They make incredible dance music whether it’s melt-your-face dubstep or high tempo mash out sound of drum & bass. They’ve been experimenting with the mainstream angle recently working with the biggest and most promising acts to come. Their new album will feature guest appearances from Plan B, Dizzee Rascal, Tempa T, and Mali among others. Zane Lowe dropped the duo’s latest single last night on Radio 1 as his “Hottest Record”. Featuring new comer Liam Bailey with the vocals; its a euphoric uplifting anthem raising you into a state of ecstasy. Hearing this track, I can’t help but think back to when C&S remixed the White Lies album closer “Death”, they used a similar style of production to give you that uplifting festival feel, and it worked incredible well. Enough of the praising, listen to the music.
